Most people know about the infamous lenspen by now, but I always had trouble finding the original. After many years of using different ones I've come to the conclusion that they're all pretty much the same. They're fantastic at cleaning lenses, as well as any other form of small glass instruments. I'd recommend using a blower first to safely get rid of any larger particles, before using the brush end to brush smaller ones away, it further prevents scraping the glass. Then twist the cap of the pen end, to 'renew' the felt tip with that magic black stuff, and rub the lens gently with it to get rid of any streaks and smears. It leaves the lens squeeky clean and ready for shots. Great quality, and last a long time.

I bought this lens cleaning pen to clean my Nikon camera lenses which are not cheap. The pen is only about 5 inches long has a pocket clip and a fine/soft brush inside it that can be pushed out via a little slider on the side then retracted back inside the body after use to protect it and keep it in tiptop condition. Once the lens has been gently brushed you flip the pen around, take off the cap to unveil a cleaning pad that you just gently clean your lens with, simples! I've tried it on filters and lenses and can confirm that it left no residue, scratches, streaks, lines or black powder! No bristles fell off either! Only a perfectly crystal clear lens remained therefore doing it's job perfectly in my honest opinion! Highly recommended

While it's a good idea to use a lens-cleaning fluid every now and then it's a better idea to keep your lenses clean while out and about with your camera. In my opinion, the Lenspen can't be beaten. A quick whisk of the brush to get rid of surface dust, perhaps a huff of breath if there are any spots, then a few rotary movements on the surface with the rubber tip. Twist the cap as you put it on and it's ready for another clean next time.

I've used this plenty of times on a variety of equipment, and it does a good job. Also it's easy to fit in my camera bag, I would recommend this item.

This tool is small and extremely easy and quick to use, easier to store than a lense cloth and easier to use quickly and put back away, both of these factors make it perfectly designed for photographing on the go. It is designed like a pen, one end with a soft brush that retracts into the housing to save from being ruined in storage, the other side is a moisture-chemical pad that you wipe over the lense to clean. The size of the moisture tip is about the size of a five-penny coin so its big enough to be used quickly. Superb.
