This latest in the Bargrooves series is another attempt to bring that late night smokey bar vibe to your own lounge or late night session. 2 Discs - 'Sunrise' and 'Sunset' have a distinct euro/Ibiza flavour(what doesn't these days?) with contributions from France as well as over the Pond. Sunrise starts well with a slow builder from 'Solar House' and the mixes are nice and smooth from there on in. If you're looking to rekindle those Ibiza breakfast moments CD1 has more of a latin flavour. Better however is 'Sunset', which is really more what deep house is about. Contributions from Frankie Knuckles typify the sound, with choice cuts from 'Circulation' and 'Ruizinho'(8 & 10),the real smokin' tunes. Its difficult to bring the bar vibe back to your house without spending some serious dosh on interior decorators so you should buy this if you are a bar owner or millionaire. However, if its 5 star uplifting stuff for your own 'deep house' you're after you'll have more joy with Naked Music and Miguel Migs.

If you only buy one compilation album this year, buy this one.
As we slowly squeeze out the final few drops of Summer, the record labels rush to push out another 50 or so tacked together pop consumated compilations full of utter tripe you'll be listening to for the next month or so then get fed up with it.
Bar Grooves Vol.3 - Indian Summer is different. It offers something unique, fresh, innovative and most of all, down-right excellent!
You'll be listening to this compilation for months to come as this compilation pushes forward addictive sounds you just can't help but move to. If you like your house music deep, soulful, jazzy and funky you will love this!
Standout tracks to check out are; the awesome Got 2 B U and the simply jawdroppingly gorgeous Love Capsule Deluxe by F+L. Though these are my favourites, every track is a winner here. Buy this. Buy this right now. You won't regret it!

It's not often you buy a double compilation that doesn't have its stautory share of tracks that seem thrown in just to make up the numbers and justify the second CD but Indian Summer ain't one of those. This CD is all Killers and no Fillers and is as refreshing as a snowstorm in summer. CD one is a silky mix of the finest jazzy funky house which leaves you aching for more. And by god you get more - CD two takes you to a new level with the sort of rude dirty deep house that just won't let your feet stand still. Indian Summer seeems a perfectly crafted progression from the first two Bar Grooves releases and word on the street is that there's more to come. If this is anything to go by our ears are safe for the foreseeable future. Keep up the good work.....

I bought the cd because I was looking for Leliwa - Pornorama. I found out another top class compilation from Bargrooves (my other favorite is Cosmopolitan). Worth the money, great music!
