Let's face it, if you've seen Muse live you will know the fantastic energy and effort that they put to the stage. Now, whilst the Hullabaloo performance is a good one, it's always difficult to capture the intensity of a gig on film. It is enjoyable to watch, but for me it became tiresome after a while. Muse fans with love watching who plays what on stage and how they work through the set, but ultimately there's only about half of the live tracks worth watching. Fortunately these tracks are of a very high standard.
Of the special features a couple of tracks have a second camera angle to watch, but in all honesty it isn't worth bothering with. It seems like a tacked on extra, it isn't anywhere near as extensive as it should be. But equally, there aren't many bands that even bother with a multiple angle option. So kudos for trying.
Also on the double DVD are a 40-minute film of Muse footage, a complete discography with samples and a photo gallery. Whilst the film footage is good, it isn't great. It's basically something to watch whilst you listen to a few of the Muse b-sides being played in the background. It is very interesting to see how much fun the band have together, though. And there are some very funny moments.
The other extras are pretty extensive. It's nice to have samples with the discography, so if you didn't own one of the albums you can check out how the songs sound. The photo gallery has a lot to it, but isn't that interesting to browse to a casual fan. Overall, it's well packaged, the cover art isn't brilliant, but it is a nice set. Worth buying for any fan of the band.

Muse are my favourite band and as any fan knows, this is an essential DVD to own. The concert is brilliant, Muse play perfectly as always and put loads of energy into the show so this should have been a joy to watch. Unfortunatly, at some points it was horrible, the reason for this is the rubbish camera work. As another reviewer said, it's like an extended promo video. At many points the camera angle changes with every beat of the drums which makes it difficult to concentrate on what you're watching.

The extras have some legendary moments. "Sit the f**k down" for example (when you watch it you'll see). There's some good footage from other gigs and Muse having fun between shows.

As I've already said, the actual concert is great but the way it was shot is very annoying at times. Buy this if you want to see an amazing Muse performance which includes some of their older tracks such as Agitated, In Your World, Dead Star and Unintended, all of which are rarely or never played in current sets.

MUSE have really proved themselves as a great band for me. Unlike quite a few other bands and artists, they are as good as or even better live than on their studio recordings. It shows they are an honest band, they MAKE all the music themselves. I admire Matt Bellamy a lot as being brilliant, top class at not only guitar, but also piano and a huge range in his vocal line. Well worth it. I agree with a previous reviewer though, DVD2 does seem a little unnecesary, it basically shows the band backstage and rather oddly when they went on a fishing trip together. The fantastic show on DVD1 makes up for anything lost on the second. 4/5

Hullabaloo is filled with some of the most breath-taking live performances ever recorded. "Cave" and "Space Dementia" will blow you away. The camera angles can be a bit shifty and occasionally annoying, but after a while of watching this amazing DVD it slips your mind. And that's all on the first DVD! The second DVD is hilarious, containing fun Muse moments off-stage, even though it looks like a child filmed it. Watch out for Dom's Slipknot impression and Matt filming some suspicious blurry footage... Buy this DVD, it rocks!
