Bad Co fans will not be disappointed with this outing, but the production lets it down and makes you wish that you were there at the gig to hear it really live. However, there are moments of excellence, such as the drumming on Alright Now which also features a credible version of THAT guitar solo, along with a stunning version of Bad Company. As you'd predict, the overall musicianship can't be faulted and Paul Rodger's voice is still the most accomplished in rock. It's just a shame that the disc doesn't kick more butt like it should.
Very good and entertaining CD....the two studio tracks are also very good!! Worth buying for these alone!!! They should have recorded a few more studio tracks and released a full album!! I would certainly have bought it!!
