I was a little dubious about a remake of such a classic with the beautiful Audrey Hepburn but did not need to be. What a truly delightful film some great one liners from Harrison ford who as always gave a great performance and Julia Ormond was so lovely. A wonderful film.

I bought this for my wife who has been looking for it for ages,it is very hard to find.I cannot comment on the film however i feel i need to point out to potential purchasers the cover on hers is entirely in French text, this is not mentioned in the product description.Thankfully the soundtrack is in English so we will be keeping it.I feel this should be stated in the description.

A fairy tale with imagination and originality.

It was always going to be hard to beat the original Hepburn and Bogart, but it compliments and modernises it nicely: Witty dialogue, charming and credible behaviour without clumsy stereotyping, lovely supporting cast and of course top class leads (just a hint of ham, not out of place in the fairy tale genre).

Now: Must rush off and see it again!
