My first flight sim was on a commodore pet (remember them) and consisted of a few random dots on a screen. How far they have come! Like most sims in 'Hercules' you can get right in and fly right away but what is impressive is the actual systems that are included. All the complex flight systems including the complex electrical control system, lighting, fuel system, pressurisation, fire detection and heating systems are 'operable' and you can choose to go though the exact sequence the actual crew do when operating this A/C or you wont get it off the ground. As ever cargo and Para doors are fully operational as are flares and radar. Engine controls are all authentic including propeller sync, reverse feathering, ground power, internal air or buddy start. The flight control system too follows the original with the correct autopilot, and instruments. The choice of liveries is enormous too several RAF version plus those of most of the worlds Hercules users. For the sim aficionado.

Incredible detail, Incredible product! Just Flight/Captain Sim have done wonders with the C130 - so many schemes and air forces around the world - so much to choose. I have flown in so many C130s over the years (as a passenger!) and everything is so accurate; the office (cockpit) and hold, ramps - you name it, it's there and correct. The 240 page manual is an absolute delight and loading the software was easy. Captain Sim's C130 is one for the Flight Stick - no autopilot, just fly it! I am using FS2004 with XP and dreading the day XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, as XP is the Rolls Royce of OS's for the PC.
