Good, but not amazing!
on 24 May 2002
When I first heard 'Whenever Wherever' I thought it was brilliant, and undoubtedly would reach the number on spot, due to the stunning and talented artist, and catchiness of the single. However, I bought the album before the release of 'Whenever Wherever' in the UK, and to be brutally honest was slightly disappointed and knew all the hype wasn't justified.
There are three obvious releases on the album, being, 'Whenever Wherever'. 'Underneath Your Clothes' and 'Objection.' The others merge into one another as they sound so similar. As well as the two strongest tracks being repeated in Spanish.
Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the album, found it refreshing, and still play it regularly, but am under no pretence that the album is good and not amazing!
