"Sahara" ...we have always loved to watch Humphrey Bogart - he has an interesting on screen prescence, akin to John Wayne. Additionally - Classic - its definition is (something that never loses its value) and that certainly applies to that Classic - African Queen; which He played a superb part. As regards to Sahara - the movie is well paced out.

Sahara [1943]
This item was for my partner, he's a great fan of all war films esp the classics. One of the best war films ever made, the film was made during the war years and is possibly the most factual, as it was made just after the Alamain campain and shows the feelings of the people in the period.

An interesting and well acted film made to boost morale in WWII. It portrays the Nazi pilot as suitably perfidious, the Italian as bumblingly decent and the allies(Americans, British and French) as cooperative and patriotic. The action scenes are well filmed and exciting. Overall well worth watching.

Very good film... enjoyed it immensely, would reccomend it. this film was made during ww 2 and the scenes were very realistic of the 'Desert' and a good story to make it worth viewing.

Bogey plays a wisened US army sergeant leading a few Americans with some British/Commonwealth soldiers in his little tank through the Sahara, before taking on an entire German battalion...my only gripe is that I don't think the US army was active in Africa before El Alamein, making this a propaganda film mostly about sand and the search for water.
