There's no doubt that the guys on this album have some real skill. Avishai himself is a master, but I cannot help but feel that his talent is slightly wasted on the keys, considering he is such a virtuosic bass player. The album is easy to listen to, and is great for anyone, however mush Jazz they've listened to. Perhaps not quite up to scratch with some of the big boys at the moments, like EST, but still worth a listen.

This album delivers what it claims "mesmerizing debut of the International Vamp Band - Unity combines the roots of jazz, latin, classical and world beats with the influence of Israel, Cuba, Argentina and Mexico". A couple of listens gets you right into the feel of what is now my number one listened to CD. I first heard this being played in a music store and just had to have it.
A brilliant CD to suit any mood.
This should be a 5* rating!
