I hadn't heard of Khan until himself and Kid Congo Powers exploded unannounced onto stage at the Empire music hall in Belfast. The gig was outrageously good - so is this album. Its a delicious celebration of sinister sleazy sex, blues lyrics dripped over a blunted experimental techno soundscape. This album makes for an addictive listen, its primal, hypnotic and compelling. If you need any more persuasion - try looking for a bad review of this on the net. Go on, I dare you . . . . !
