There are some concerts or music DVD's that you might watch once or twice and then never bother with again. I have found myself watching this time and time again. I don't think it is just the fact that it has fantastic list of musicians but at the release it dipped back in to some of the numbers i had grown up with as i started listening to this kind of jazz from the age of 15. Hence i knew numbers like Brazilian love affair,Westchester Lady, and Always There amoungst them. I highly recommend this. However when i purchased this some time back it was listed as Region 2 but when it arrived it was a NTSC Region 1. Luckily i had not long bought a Blu ray play which played multi region on the dvd aspect. Recently i wanted to buy a copy for a freind and again it listed as Region 2 but it as just arrived and is indeed NTSC Region 1. I wonder infact whether it has ever been available as region 2. Buy with caution as NTSC Region 0 will normally play on PAL 2 players but Region 1 will not.

This star studded concert is a must for all true fusion jazz lovers. To see the likes of Bob James, Kirk Whalum, Rick Braun, Boney James & Fourplay to mention a few is nothing short of a masterpiece. The quality of sound and visual has to be commended also - Absolutely Brilliant.
I have certainly had my money's worth and will not grow tired watching this extravaganza.

What can I say but superbbbbbbb, bass-slaping, funky sax-solo'es and keybordplay like only Geroge Duke and Bob James can play it. The music varies from funk to fusion jazz to melow Boney James for everyone to understand. The sound on this dvd is superb, you dont need the 2-cd if you have this. Thers a lot of dusty boring jazz dvd's out there, this one is a keeper.
