Until recently I had been using an old digital pad but unfortunately it packed in after about a years use. After doing some research I decided on this pad and boy have I not been dissapointed. The product is of an extremely high quality for the money with a good solid build quality and nice rubberised feel to it. The dual analogue sticks are brilliant and I would never go back to using a pad without them. The twelve buttons are nice and responsive and feel pretty solid and the D-Pad is also very accurate. The vibrate (force feedback) is comparable to the rumble on a PS2 or XBOX controller and on games like MGS2:Substance add a nice touch to the feel of play. All in all a very good joypad - in fact the best I have seen on the PC. Good price too!
This pad has excellent features, and the two analogue controllers has become second nature to me. The rubber surface gives a good grip, even with sweaty palms. The overall impression of the pad, is pure quality, and the games I now play with this pad, I'll never play again without it. My stamp of approval: I'm thinking about getting another one, just in case somebody should challenge me at home :-) The configuration software is ok, but there's no manual! I spent 30-40 minutes trying to configure the pad for a specific game. Once you know how, it's very easy. If there had been a (good) manual, I would easily give it five stars.
Out of all the pads I own,and that includes a tilt pad, this one is the most positive so far, it is nice to have two analog controls, and the covering makes it very comfortable to use over long periods, I'm not to keen on the feed back, but thats my only crit. Alan
