The censors are to blame for this being such a mess really. Parts 1 and 2 were originally a little sub-plotline in the series about a world run by demonically possessed children who enslave the adult population, but the explicit outbursts of sex and violence (not involving children though) was deemed by the censor to be unsuitable for video release. Episode 3, which is what's presented on this DVD, continues were Urotsukidoji III left off, so in some ways it's understandable why Kiseki/Revelation thought it would be a good idea to release this episode, but sadly the censor's scissors have been at this one too, meaning that it's only just 40 mins long and largely incomprehensible. There are some nice extras though, with the background of the story, character profiles and the scripts included, which is more than you get on any other Kiseki release. But this one is strictly for anime completists only.

This version of the film is not the entire film, but cuts from the original version. Since certain parts of the movie where deemed questionable in the UK, parts of the movie has removed, to be frank, everything but the start and the end has been removed.
The movie therefor starts strange and ends even stranger with nearly every character dying in the beginning and one strange sex-scene.
The quality of the movie is a little worse than parts I-III but...
This DVD doesn't even come close to the original, so don't buy this one. You'll be better wasting your money on something else.

as with the prewvious 2 sequals, the quality and editing for certifcation the UK has gotten worse & worse. this is at its worse in this installment as the 1st 2 episodes have been removed entirely and the 3rd epiode - the only one on this volume, is so heavily editied tha you feel like your missing the plot entirely. The quality of the animation has slipped so much it looks like the creator may hae done it himself!!!

if your an overfiend fan I seriously suggest investing in a import copy from either anime18 from the USA or the original japanese.

The first two episodes are dated but still excellent. The following episodes get increasingly poor leading up to this one which is absolute rubbish. Whereas the first episodes cut out scenes which resulted in stuttered understanding of the events that unfold, this one goes even further by blocking some of the visible screen with it's black subtitle background and with the distortion of the visible scenes they DID leave in but still don't want you to see.

as a big urotsukidoji fan i was shocked at how poor this was in comparison to the others in the series. yes, they did trail bit after the first one, but this is downright a waste of money.
i knew it didnt look good when the dvd said on it "quest's end". the 2nd of the 2 episodes on the DVD case
the quality of the DVD is very poor. it looks like it has been downloaded from the internet.
the DVD boasts "easy to read digital Englsih subtitles... the original vocal track has not been altered...". to me that sounds like they couldnt be bothered to dub it.
the subtitles appear as white text on a soldid black background, which could not appear any worse as they block out part of the animation.
what really got me was the length of this. the back of the dvd case shows 2 episodes, so you would assume there would be over an hour at least, in comparison with the multi episode urotsukidoji 3. instead it is one story that as mentioned barely lasts 40 minutes. for the price, it is not worth it, especially as it has been cut.
there may be a few extras on it, but even then the story lines and character profiles are hard to read and the photo gallery is not clear at all. even the menus are hard to read. you feel they had to put something on it to pad out the DVD.
terribly dissapointing, even for the die-hard. there was so much potential, but this is probably some of the worst anime i have seen.

This dvd is a complete letdown, mainly due to the fact that so much of it has been cut. You are left confused at certain points due to the complex storylines involved. This is only worth getting if you want to find out what happens when the chojin and the Kyo-o merge. To behonest its a big anticlimax. Only buy this dvd if you have to have the complete set.

Only one episode of the final three which has been heavily edited leaving you wondering what's going on. The ending is a HUGE dissapointment, feels rushed and makes the whole saga and the poorer episodes you've watched over the years pointless. The quality of the DVD video is fairly o.k but pales in comparison to the early Manga release on DVD the sound quality is very good but the subtitles are poor, badly translated and unreadable at times.
Hopefully the new Urotsukidoji Saga won't be treatly so poorly....

this film is a watse of money and time. it doesn't let you know where begins only through a scripted format of the two previous instslments of this series. believe me, being a Urotsukidoji fan myself, DO NOT BUY THIS. get on a search engine and buy the export from the U.S. the story is cut so short there is no begining and it will leave you confused and way out of pocket.

This DVD is not fit for purpose. There is allegedly according to the case 2 episodes 'The Secret Garden-The long road to divinity' and 'Quests end'. The is only one 'Quests End' which has been so severely cut that it has been rendered incoherent . Recommend it should be scrapped. Why do I keep it, it is the second dvd the first was the same i keep it to remind me NOT to purchase any further dvds from Revelation and to show to kith and kin how bad it is.
