Right from the first time you look at the cover and inner sleeve you realise this guy's odd.what you might not be prepared for is a full on,low-fi,old school hip-hop album and not the cheesey tunes you may have expected.Chilli's at great pains to tell us he's "The worst m.c"but don't believe him,the album starts a little slow but the second half of it is excellent,If you like your hip-hop sample free with the emphasis on beats and rapping(Roxanne Shante anyone?)Chilli does for rap what Jon Spencer does for blues. This album is a breath of fresh air in the bloated beast of corporate Police sampling Hip-hop and I thoroughly recommend it.

Gonzales' first album on Kitty Yo was the bomb. The BOMB!!!!! Like nothing you've heard, at least in that order. A few tracks aside, this is a demo. It's not junk by any means. What Gonzo puts out we should all rush out to buy as a matter of moral responsibility. But it's a trick. Gonzo wants us to think the music doesn't matter, it's all about how he self-promotes, yada yada yada. Well he's partly right but come on dude, give us the real "stuff". We know you're sitting on it. Or it is already going out under ANOTHER pseudoname?
