I was only after one of the songs, "It all depends" but I do not like buying singles so I bought the whole CD. I am still getting used to the other songs but they seem to be average.

Brilliant album, highly recommended if you like Eric Clapton. Not a new album but I think one of his best.

Excellent C.D. but far too commercial a sound - no wonder Phil Collins was saddened by it .

"Behind The Sun" marks Eric Clapton's first flirt with guitar synths, a legacy which continued with Slowhand's following album, "Edge of the Darkness", a collaboration between the man himself and late famed composer/conductor Michael Kamen, released in 1985. Eric's Roland G-505 synth guitar controller is heard on the "Never Make You Cry" track #9, while searing solos fill out "Forever Man", "Something's Happening", "Same Old Blues" and "Just Like a Prisoner". "Same Old Blues" is a kind of '80s blues scoring filled with an interesting dash of electronic percussion.

I bought this CD to my Clapton Collection. I liked it very much.

Everything was perfect with the acquisition itself.
