Avoid like the plague.
I bought this item from direct4crafts and honestly wish I hadn't. The tip case has numerous small hairline cracks in it and also looks grubby and the tips are really bent. The case came in a wilton box but it wasn't shrink wrapped, which it should have been, so I have doubts about its being new as described. I have had the item for a while because I didn't realize when I got it that it was faulty, I guess I didn't look at it close enough.
I have just sent a message to the seller asking for a replacement... but I will no doubt have to return the faulty item before I can get a replacement, which means I 'll now have to wait another week for an item I would already be able to use.
I hate buying things like this online but unfortunately they're not available in stores.
I will update this review when I've heard from the seller- direct4crafts, to let you know what they did about this.
I contacted the seller direct4crafts who acted all concerned and asked me to return the item so they could examine it, I returned it to them, then was told by them that the set wasnt faulty and none of the tips were bent, they treated me as if i was stupid and had imagined the damage to the tips, and informed me they were going to send the set back to me... this despite the fact that any idiot could see several of the tips were really bent, and my friends and family also agreed the tips were damaged, some irreparably. From the conversations I had with this seller, I got the impression they had used a wilton tip saver to re bend some of the damaged tips back into the correct shape, then were just saying that the tips werent damaged to start with, if they had asked me if they could fix the tips i would have said no as its a new set and asked for a replacement which is probably why they lied about it. They went through extreme lengths to cover up the fact that this set was faulty, why didnt they just return it to wilton and refund or replace the set since it was obviously faulty?!
I finally had to file a claim with amazon, as the seller despite my numerous attempts, refused to refund or replace the set and they also tried to claim it wasnt in the original packaging, I think they were referring to the shrink rap which it wasnt in when it was sent to me, cause it was still in the tip saver case and wilton box.
I tried one last time after filing the claim in the hopes the seller would come to their senses and refund the item, instead they again treated me like id imagined the damage and again said they'd return the set to me...
A few days after filing the claim with amazon, it was granted. The seller now has to refund the original purchase price. So the question is, if i WAS imagining the damage as the seller seems to believe why did amazon side with me and refund my money?! because the seller was lying.
Take my advice avoid this seller like the plague, they are now under investigation from amazon for trying to con me.
I highly recommend you pay a little more and buy from a reputable seller, which would be anyone but direct4crafts.
