THE FOUR TEAM TAG ELIMATION MATCH WAS THE WORST MATCH OF THE EVENING BUT WAS STILL PRETTY GOOD
THEINTERCONINENTIAL TITLE MATCH WAS FARELY GOOD IT FEATURED THE ROCK VS THE SULTAN(RIKISHI) WITH THE HONKY TONK MAN AS THE GUEST COMMENTATOR
THE TAG TEAM TITLEMATCH WAS FAST PACED AND ONE OF THE MOST BRILLANT MATCH IVE EVER SEEN.FEATURING BULLDOG,OWEN HART VS VADER AND MANKIND
NEXT CAME GOLDUST VS HHH WHICH SAW CHYNA ASSAULT TERRI WHICH BROUGHT OUT ANOTHER SANCITIVE SIDE TO GOLDUST.
THEN THE FIRST MAIN EVENT SAW BRET HART VS STONE COLD IN A SUBMISSION GRUDGE MATCH WITH KEN SHAMROCK AS GUEST REFEREE.
NEXT CAME THE STREET FIGHT BETWEEN THE NATION AND THE ROAD WARRIORS. IT WAS A REAL HARDCORE MATCH.
THE LAST MATCH WAS FOR THE WWF CHAMPIONSHIP IN WHICH SHAWN MICHAELS WAS DOING COLOUR COMMENTARY. THE MATCH WAS DELAYED BY A WINING BRET HART WHO SHUT UP BY THE UNDERTAKER AND SID.THE MATCH THEN BEGAN AND SAW A FANTASTIC TITLE BOUT WHEN SID DONE A TOMBSTONE ON THE UNDERTAKER.
A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY WRESTLING FAN!!!!!!!

Wrestlemania 13 was significant for many reasons. After almost a year of falling ratings and contractual wranglings, the WWF finally returned to live TV in the UK. The endless parade of celebrity guests and vaudevillesque cabaret, that cluttered previous Wrestlemanias, is discarded in favour of a more adult orientated, action focussed spectacular. Most significantly of all, we witnessed the most groundbreaking match that the industry has seen. Whilst they may not have fully realised it at the time, Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin were heralding the dawning of the 'hardcore' era, an epic battle of amazing intensity, which went from the ring, to the arena floor and on into the crowd, before finally concluding in a crimson tide of rattlesnake blood, with Ken Shamrock (making his WWF debut as guest referee) still screaming 'Steve, do you give up!'. Perhaps the most lasting image will be the one of Bret, the long time hero and role model being roundly booed from the arena, whilst Austin, the industry's personification of the bad guy up until this point, was given a rupturous ovation by the Chicago crowd. The card does also contain other top matches, most notably Owen Hart & The British Bulldog vs. Mankind and Vader for the tag titles. The six man 'street fight', Ahmed Johnson and L.O.D vs. The Nation of Domination and the WWF championship match between Sid and The Undertaker are good matches, but there is just no way anything could have followed the 'Hitman' and 'Stone Cold', well worth the five star rating and the price of the vid on its own.

This Wrestlemania was awesome it had loads of special matchs here are the matches
4 team elimination tag team match - godwins vs Hedbangers vs Blackjacks vs Furnas and LaFon
Good opener but not the best opener 7/10
Intercontinentle championship match - Rocky Maivia (The Rock) vs The Sultan (Rikishi) - good match but again not the best IC title match 7.5/10
Goldust vs Hunter Hurst-Helmsley (Triple H) - Very entertaining match, it was also the 1st PPV that Helmsley and Chyna were together 8.5/10
Tag Team Championship match - Owen Hart and British Bulldog vs Mankind and Vader - great tag match, see Mankind hit his face badly on the steel post when he is thrown into it by Bulldog 8/10
Submission match (also known as grudge match) Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin - I have to agree this atch was a classic, this match has got to be the best damn wrestlemania match of all time, see Austin badly busted open after hitting his face against the steel guard rail, also you will see chairs, Camera Cables and the Ring Bell 1,000,000/10
Chicago Street Fight - Armhead Johnson and the L.O.D vs Nation of Domination - This match was a great Mania match is well, it is almost as good as The Submission Match, they used Chairs, Trash Cans, The Anouncers Tables, a big Stop Sign and many and I mean Many More Weapons 10/10
WWF Championship Match - Sycho Sid vs The Undertaker - good 20 minuite match and in this match HBK Shawn Michaels is Comintating so the match can get better 9/10

My review of WWF WrestleMania 13:

Furnans & Lofan vs Headbangers vs Godwinns vs The New Blackjacks: ****
A great way to start the show off with a four tag team elimination match, which guaranteed the winning team a future tag team championship opportunity.

The Sultan vs Rocky Maivia: ***
A match for the Intercontinental Championship, which highlighted the first time we see The Rock performing at Wrestlemania, as the young Rocky Miavia.

Goldust vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley: ****
A fantastic match-up, between Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Goldust. Constant back and forth action all throughout the match.

Owen Hart & British Bulldog vs Vader & Mankind: ****
A match for the WWF Tag Team Championship, which sadly ended in a double count out, but a good performance shown by both teams.

Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin: *****
What can I say but an instant classic Wrestlemania match-up, between two of the greats in the history of professional wrestling. A match-up that was so personal, it was just thrilling to watch.

Chicago Street Fight: ****
An instant war of a match, with so much brutality shown between The Nation of Domination, who faced LOD and Ahmed Johnson.

Sycho Sid vs The Undertaker: *****
Fantastic main event for the World Wrestling Federation Championship, which was constant back and forth, back and forth all throughout.

WWF Wrestlemania 13 took place in Chicago,Illonois on March 23rd 1997 and was a great event featuring a submission match that was considered one of the most memorable Wrestlemania matches of all time. Here are the matches:
1)4 TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH:
Godwinns VS New Blackjacks VS Headbangers VS Furnas & LaFon.
(A solid match but not Wrestlemania material in my opinion)**
2)IC TITLE:
Rocky Maivia(c) VS The Sultan.
(This was a pretty good match with some good moves by both men.Good to see The Rock at the start of his WWF career and The Sultan who is now known as Rikishi)***
3)Goldust VS Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
(Another good match which started over Marlena and ends up with, then newcomer Chyna throwing her around like a rag doll.HHH was great here as a snob and looked so much smaller than he does now)***
4)TAG TEAM TITLES:
Owen Hart & British Bulldog(c) VS Mankind & Vader.
(This match was very good with Owen and Bulldog both squabbling over who is the leader of the team.Good in ring work by all four men but the way it ends isn't great)***1/2
5)SUBMISSION MATCH:
Bret Hitman Hart VS Stone Cold Steve Austin.
(This was a great match which saw Austin get badly busted open after landing head first into the steel guard rail. Also this was Bret's last Wrestlemania and Ken Shamrock was making his WWF debut as the guest referee.Brutal bloodbath)*****
6)CHICAGO STREET FIGHT:
Ahmed Johnson & Legion Of Doom VS Faarooq,Crush & Savio Vega.
(A hardcore riot with all the Nation Of Domination involved even those 2 little annoying 'rappers' PG-13.This was a mess and saw Faarooq get pulled off the turnbuckle and land on his shoulder which caused him a seperated shoulder)****
7)WWF CHAMPIONSHIP:
Sycho Sid(c) VS The Undertaker.
(For a Wrestlemania main event this was a little boring but the commentary from Shawn Michaels and the interference of Bret Hart a few times spices it up a bit.Taker was at his best here and had to carry the useless Sid for a good 20 minutes)***1/2

All in all not one of the best Wreslemanias I have seen.Wrestlemania 13 features only six matches, so includes often long, hard to watch contests that although are good on wresteling content, are thin on the ground in explosive moves and out of ring brawling that we are now so used to seeing. The first three matches of Wrestlemania 13 are mediocre to say the least and are no way up to the standard of the rest of the card. However the Austin v Brett "Hitman" Hart helped to pull this Wrestlemania from being one of the worst of all time to a fairly good one.The match has every thing that a wrestling fan could possibly want, from in crowd brawling to technical wrestling and a great example of why Austin is the most popular, toughest S.O.B in the WWF today. The next match being a Chicago street fight between the Nation of Domination and the Legion of Doom and Ahmed Johnson, suggest only one thing......VIOLENCE! and lots of it.This match has an abundance of chair shots, weapons, and in and out of ring brawling that will have you wincing in pain at many of the of the moves. The final match between the Undertaker and Syco Sid is a fairly solid performance, however on occasions is painfully slow. The inclusion of Shawn Michaels on colour commnetary and the continuous interruptions of Brett Hart at ringside make this an entertaining match to watch. Also be sure to check out the Rocky Maivia v Sultan match, which shows just how much the Rock has come along since his early WWF days. This is not a bad Wrestlemania but not one that I would recomemnd if bone crushing action and insane tumbles and falls is what you're after.

The 18 rating was given for the four-team elimination match because it was just so depressing in poorness and had no good teams in it at all. Goldy v Trips was also dreary and slow but had a "TERRI"ble ending for someone. LOL! Owen and Bulldog v Mankind and Vader was good at best, only made good by the Bulldog being the only popular one there (including Owen) and he was just a top wrestler. Rocky v Sultan (a.k.a Fatu or Rikishi) was classically bad because they were both useless back then. Honky Tonk man who was commentating kept saying Sultan would win. COME ON PEOPLE! He had a 27 match-loosing streak for gods sake! It was the biggest losing streak in 97! Nation v Ahmed and LOD is just a pile hilarious hardcore fun! Bret v Austin is the best on the card with a heel and face change in 1 match! Sid v Taker was a stinker of a Wrestlemania event. Sid is useless, plain and simple. HBK commentating and constant beatings to Bret got it just out of the gutter.
I heart wrestling
