This Survivor Series took place in November 1990 and is remembered best for marking the first ever WWF appearance of The Undertaker (who is still with the WWF today). The event itself was good, and featured the following matches:
Hulk Hogan, Big Boss Man, Tugboat and Jim Duggan VS Earthquake, Dino Bravo, Haku and The Barbarian
Ultimate Warrior, Kerry Von Erich, and L.O.D VS Mr. Perfect and Ax, Smash and Crush
Ted Dibiase, The Undertaker, Honky Tonk Man and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine VS Dusty Rhodes, Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart and Koko .B. Ware
Plus more matches. If your a WWF fan and you havent already got this, BUY IT NOW!

I first watched this event in mid-1991 and for some reason, even though wrestling has evolved since then, I still find this the best Survivor Series event I have ever watched.
Perhaps it's due to the debut of The Undertaker. This show took place in November 1990 and it is now April 2003-and The Undertaker is still going strong. Perhaps it's memorable because it was larger than life star The Ultimate Warrior's last Survivor Series. All I know is that this is great.
When the Survivor Series concept was in it's infancy, the rules were simple. Teams of four (or five-or even three) would battle it out until all the members of one team were eliminated. At this event, those who survived advanced to a Grand Finale.
The first match pitted The Warriors led by the painted faced Ultimate Warrior against The Perfect Team led by the late Mr. Perfect, who was a talented star. It was a heated match.
The second match pitted cocky heel Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase leading The Million Dollar Team against The Dream Team led by the overweight Dusty Rhodes. This match introduced the eerie Undertaker who suffered no pain (this is wrestling remember, you must suspend your disbelief). A good match with some good wrestling at the end.
Next up was Jake "The Snake" Roberts leading The Vipers against the arrogant team of The Visionaries led by the arrogant Rick "The Model" Martel. This was more of a brawl but entertaining all the same.
Then we came to hugely popular star Hulk Hogan leading The Hulkamaniacs against the gargantuan Earthquake who led his team, The Natural Disasters. Another entetaining brawl.
American traitor Sgt. Slaughter then led his team The Mercenaries against The Alliance who were led by Nikolai Volkoff (who played a Russian but was not a Russian). A decent match, this was.
Then came the Grand Finale where wrestlers who had survived the match advanced to do battle. I won't spoil it and tell you who wrestled in the Grand Finale-you'll have to buy the tape. I recommend it highly, it is well worth anyone's money (if you're an old-school wrestling fan like myself).

This is a great PPV, the debut of the PHENOM and whats more you have thelegend MONSOON commentating. The only downside to this brilliant annual isthe ROOSTER
A big dinosaur egg is at the arena and about 3/4 of the way through ithatches and a stupid **** gets out and starts prancing around in a roosteroutfit, funny in the 80's not now.
Also Roddy Pipers voice does get a little irritating
But overall with the likes of hogan, warrior, herucles, perfect, demolition, hart foundation, the rockers, sgt slaughter.
You can't and never will go wrong.
Its a must for all collectors and old school wrestling fans alike.
I have survivor series 1 - 6 and without a doubt this is a topcontender.

This was actually a decent event - in it the survivors of eahc match teamed up at the end of the evening in a grand finale match of survival - though given that this tape includes Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior it shouldn't be hard to guess who wins. This card also includes the debut of the Undertaker as part of the Million $ Team.
