One of the best film soundtracks I have ever heard. The opening track is moody and menacing and the rest share a haunting nature aside from a few here and there like 'Corso' and 'Plane to Spain' which are positively chipper and upbeat.
The finale however is where the soundtrack truly shines. 'Balkan's Death' and 'Corso and the Girl' are utterly amazing and having that blasting through your earphones, into your very soul, is a magnificent experience.
Perhaps my review is bittersweet as I have long since misplaced my copy and can only remember those amazing tracks. If I cannot find it I will have no choice but to buy this album again as this soundtrack is one of those that you must listen to from time to time if only to lose yourself in this brilliantly written score!
