This is very, very loud. This is not the sort of music you have on in the background, as I discovered to my cost, it rips you out of whatever you're doing and screams Anarchic slogans at you through lo-fidelity microphones. It is Noise, plain and simple and painful to listen to for all but the most devout followers of the underground (Pretentious? Moi?). It mixes Punk, Dance and even Hip-Hop (the last four tracks feature The Arsonists) with shouting (Alec Empire) and screaming (Hanin Ellias) and stabs a hypodermic needle full of it right into your eyeball. And the cover looks nice.
As you put on the first track "Revoulution Action" you no this isnt the thing you play to your granny. But as large f*** off guitars blast on your unsuspected ear and the brainstorming breakbeats shatter your senses!! It bullets headlong into a riotous abyss full of everything a good hardcore techno ... riot needs. Straight on into Atari Teenage Riot2. A track that stands out that makes you want to raise your fist and rebel against everything and chant Atari Teenage Riot. Buy this album and lose your senses!
After years and years of producing revolutionizing, provocative and excellent music, Atari Teenage Riot comes to the peak of their career with this CD. It has just the right portion of beats vs. noise vs. bass and therefore it is, in my opinion, the best album of their discography.
