Toys In The Attic contains the song that made Aerosmith hip again. Walk This Way with Run DMC rescued their career, following line up changes and what seemed like drug induced retirement.
The original version is disapointing in comparison, and on the whole, the entire album sounds dated. Sweet Emotion, the title track and Cry Me A River prove how strong the material is, but somehow, the production lacks something.
Rocks does exactly what it says on the tin. Back in the Saddle kicks it off, followed by Last Child,(possibly my favourite 'smiff track). Get The Lead Out and Sick as a Dog, classics all.
Draw the Line is under-rated. The metallic slide on the title track sizzles. I Wanna Know Why grooves along and the production is a lot rawer. Bright Light Fright could almost be classed as PUNK!!! (Joe Perry's first lead vocal, I think!?!)
All in all this is an absolute bargain. Three classic albums by one of THE great rock'n'roll bands. Ah! The excitement I remember, hearing these for the first time. Lap it up rock fans...

This is one great deal. Aerosmith are one of the worlds best bands and when such a compliation appear with three of their best albums (Rocks is my favorite album) is definetly worth buying and at such a low price you should buy it. (Although most true aerosmith fans will own at least one if not all of them)

If you are new to Aerosmith, don't get carried away by thinking that everything they release is a ballad. This may be true of the single releases over the last 10 years, but these albums ROCK HARD!!
Quite simply, they are the definitive Aerosmith albums that every music fan needs to own. Very strong material and lyrics, not to mention music, is the reason Aerosmith are so huge. Buy these albums!!
