Just think... Oasis spend millions recording albums that always seem to sound like a really poor Beatles covers band. Olivia Tremor Control recorded most of this on a four-track, probably whilst standing in fields or something, and they've managed to create one of the greatest albums of perfect experimental pop I've ever heard!! It's almost as if the Fab Four and The Beach Boys got together during 1966 in their spare time to knock up an unreleased gem, that lay undiscovered for years, but was eventually unearthed in Athens, Georgia during the 1990's, and replicated note-for-note by the Elephant 6 Orchestra. Buy it, it's essential!!

It's hard to describe how good this album is. It's a grower, that never stops growing on you, and it never ever gets boring.
If you like the Beach Boys and The Beatles, you need to buy this album.
RIP Bill Doss.
