Three tracks stand out, the rest is for the bin, still five stars just for the three tracks.

I can say i am not a fan of the bad attitude and all the rest of the crap that went on during the life of Oasis, but you have to hold your hand up and be counted when you are asked the question, ''is their a Oasis track you like'' even when you admit to not being a fan.
I have a shortlist of four tracks that i like from them, three of them on here.
I hope the Noel would at least have the opinion that everything he wrote was not ''superb'' because the bad attitude really prevented my purchase of their music in the 1990s,
If it had not been for the closing scene at the end of the BBC Mini series ''Our Friends In The North'' that captured Daniel Craig (James Bond 007 if no one has heard of him) walking across the river Tyne on his own to the track 'Don't Look Back In Anger' a fitting track to what had became of his life, then i would have washed my hands of Oasis.
Don't Look Back In Anger
These three deserve the praise that Noel gives himself, they really are classics, if these songs actually mean something to someone or get the hair on your arms lifting then Oasis get the sale of another album and i believe Noel actually said somewhere at sometime ''if he can write a song that will live in the memory of someone for the rest of their lives'' then he deserved the accolades he received.
I understand why the recordings are so distorted now, having watched the Supersonic docu-movie, ''trying to recreate the live performance'' but this gets tiresome but i still give the album five stars just for the three tracks, the rest to me are throw away 'b-side' standard but somewhere someone loves them, i wonder if they still feel the same way 20 years on.
Best of luck Noel, you wrote four songs that will stay in my personal music memory bank, Well Done.
