Second time around, first bought on vinyl but lost it, love this cd - full blast in the car on long journeys. You need to get this one as it's a monster cd.

If I was ever stuck on a desert island, and could take only one album, this would have to be it. I love music from all genre's but this is the album that got me into Genesis, espcially the track One for the Vine.

Some great tracks, its moves along so well, and its a pleasure to listen too.

Its a shame it was not the orignal American release which featured studio tracks on side 4, hence the title of the album, but any Genesis fan worth thier salt will have a copy of that version anyway !

A great driving cd

As a live album, Three Sides Live is a very good one. Not as great as Seconds Out, but very good anyway. The only thing I don't like about this release is that mostly of the tracks present here are from the albums Duke and Abacab. Me And Sarah Jane, Misunderstanding, Behind The Lines/Duchess, these versions are good, but I prefer the 1976- 77 era... The sleeve looks like a bootleg one. Awful sleeve, anyway.

Great album on a par with Seconds Out as a fine record of later Genesis live BUT Amazon, sort the tracks out!! Fountain Of Salmacis is the 2nd half of One For The Vine and It/Watcher Of The Skies is Fountain Of Salmacis! Come on, best tracks on the album messed up...

The atmosphere created from this live album recorded from several gigs in America and Europe, is one that is hard to match. The sound quality for a start is superb, so all subtleties can be hard in excellent clarity. What sells this album for me are the rare live takes of Behind the Lines and Duchess, quite marvalous. Several tunes namely Dodo and Abacab are linked in a segue, with super proggressive drumming from chester. On of the highlights though is the last couple of tracks on CD 2, recorded in 1976, and feature Hackett and Bruford, yet still posess the same quality of musicanship and blend into the album very well. All in all an excellent example of 80s Genesis, a must for the collection.

Simply the best progressive rock live album from the 80's. It's a bit of the real Genesis and its powerful scene act.

If you like the post Gabriel Genesis stuff and you don't have this cd, you should. I personally prefer Seconds Out but you won't be disappointed.

Not as good as the brilliant Seconds Out, and of course largely newer songs, but some good things here. The Fountain of Salmacis is epic!

Worth listening to it just for the fantastic 'Cinema Show / In the Cage medley. But the rest is rather good too.

A great live set, and the older tracks on the second CD are just wonderful. Grab it while you can.
