Not as good as I expected, or in other words, it is something totally different from Leaves Eyes. More a pop-rock thing than we are used to. She has a nice voice, the songs are sort of radio friendly stuff, but I expected something more similar to LE.

Liv's first solo CD of some ten year back, this still stands out as a highly original , well -balanced album. It mixes elements of folk and rock with experimental operatics , lightened up with just a couple of more pop(ish!) tracks.
No one genre label could EVER really fit this one -but if I had to sum up in very few words, best I could come up with would be "mystical metal chill-out". Especially the hypnotic title track that the brief intro draws you directly into.
Truely in a class of its own,in more ways than one. Just a few tracks on Tarja's solo albums of some years later have a similar sound and feel to one or two on here, but overall those are both, as might be expected, far heavier and much more operatic)
Bought this one on the spot a year back, entirely on the strength of Liv's vocals and lyrics with Leaves Eyes. Still every bit as very replayable now as it was then !
