Another winner from Mr Bowie!
Moving into the early eighties new romantic period, it would be easy to assume that this is an album in that genre. The inclusion of 'Ashes to Ashes' & 'Fashion', coupled with the front cover artwork could certainly give that impression to the uninitiated, but there is oh so much more to this offering.
There's such a good mix of differing styles and influences in here - 'Up The Hill Backwards' and 'It's No Game' (both Part 1 and Part 2) are far removed from the new romantic label. This is so eclectic and lively that is holds your interest from start to finish, and is unashamedly a rock album through and through.
