This album has a jazz, funk mix to it that is beautiful, but the main reason I gave it five stars is probably the smallest recording ( Tokyo Story) in the album; I find it haunting and beautiful.

If a person writes some thing so beautiful once in there lives they need to do no more.

Monotonous vocals over what sound like repetitive, lifeless backing tracks. I've tried listening to it a few times in the car but worried it'd cause and accident as I fell asleep!

This cd is soporific ! And this is a Sakamoto fan speaking.

The master made so many great albums (Discord, Casa, 1996, BTTB...), I guess he should be forgiven for this one, which is a collection of dull and even sometimes, ridiculous songs.

Sweet revenge fails where an album like Smoochy had succeeded.
It contains almost only repetitive and annoying music, caricatural-groovy-house/r'n b-soup with ridiculous lyrics.
The cover speaks for itself : too much is too much...

Definitely not the best album to discover the incredible sakamoto musical universe !
