TOP 500 REVIEWERon 25 September 2008
This is difficult to get hold of now, but if you can find a copy, and you're a fan of Elton, this well worth searching for. With 19 tracks its mainly covers of classic Elton John Tracks:

Hey Lord You Made the Night Too Long - Long John Baldry
Breakdown Blues - Bread & beer Band
Turn To Me - Plastic Penny
Country Comfort - Rod Stewart
Border Song - Aretha Franklin
71-75 New Oxford Street - Mr Bloc
Let Me Be Your Car - Rod Stewart
Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - The Three Degrees
Planes - Colin Blunstone
Candle In The Wind - Sandy Denny
Your Song - Billy Paul
Philadelphia Freedom - Esther Phillips
Strangers - Randy Meisner
Sweet Heart On Parade - Judy Collins
Sorry Seems TO Be The Hardest Word - Elaine Page
The Rumour - Olivia Newton John
Sacrifice - Brenda Cochrane
Someone Saved My Life Tonight - Walter Jackson
Eltons Song - Tom Robinson

Not all of these are classic covers, indeed there are a few stinkers, but this is mostly down to personal taste. For me though Elaine Pages version of Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word is horrid...

Rarest is the Bread & Beer Band instrumental track from 1969 which was a short-lived Supergroup of sorts, that has Elton on Piano. The best track is probably Aretha's cover of Border Song from 1970. She could do no wrong then!
