Wow! This one's a corker, from the Upsetter himself, 'taking you on a musical review' as he puts it! Definitely one of Perry's best, I couldn't believe there was no review of it so had to write something about it. The classic LSP sound is put to good effect in this pastiche of the Hong Kong movies of the time. I don't know too much about this album though it was recorded at Perry's Black Ark studio in 1975 at the height of Bruce Lee Mania. These movies with their themes of good and evil were a big influence on Perry. Most of the tracks have a Karate theme and there are a lot of synth sounds, chinese scales and martial art sound effects included to great effect. Some are overlayed with Augustus Pablo's beautiful melodica and harmonica playing and other players include Boris Gardiner. A must for Perry fans and definitely one of his classics.
