In April 1971 GF laid down 'Survival'.

This is the album which signalled change. Positive change.

The straight-forward, simple, rock output was enhanced with an atmospheric, slightly jazzy, bluesy feel to it.

Sounds dubious - but no! It's an excellent album with some really strong, memorable songs. It's one of my favourites.

Best tracks : All You've Got Is Money, Comfort Me, Feelin' Alright

Best left alone : Gimme Shelter (its ok but a classic Stones song best left to the writers)

Overall, a tour de force. Original and still true to their roots. Stunning.
