Bought this CD because I was curious about the title, and I wasn't disappointed.
All of the tracks have a good beat alongside very haunting and almost red-indian style chanting. If you like delerium, some of faithless and deep forest, mixed with enigma, you'll love this, especially late at night with the lights down low and a glass of something, CHILL OUT!!

Picked up this CD at Womad 2000 and haven't stopped listening to it since. My copy travelled to Iceland this year, and fellow travellers were all equally spellbound. It's an absolutely beautiful album, a mellow fusion of voices and instruments from all over the world - with a beat. Excellent stuff.

First heard of this while listening to Johnnie Walker on Radio 2, playing the track 'Life'. Had to buy. If the master of music sees fit to play it on his show then it had to be good to me, and it is. Perfect ambience, and as one reviewer has said 'Falling with you' has an edge all to it's self.Great to drive to. One criticism is - am I the only one to have a 12 track CD with only 11 tracks audible? Track 11 appears to be a silent 4 minutes or so! Anyone from the recording company care to make a comment??

I still play this gem of a CD frequently while in my car. In a nutshell, it takes you to a "different peaceful state of mind", thanks to its perfect blend of mid 90's electronica, chill-out and world music. It is worth buying alone for songs like 'In an ocean of joy'. Highly recommended!

Thought I'd heard the ultimate in wonderful music with my Enigma cd's. (If you only buy one Enigma CD get LE ROI EST MORT, VIVA LE ROI!) Then I heard a snippet of Dreamcatcher (track 10) at the end of one of Ray Mears survival programmes. I was entranced and had to hear more. Bought the CD on the strength of hearing about 60 seconds on the tv.
Dreamcatcher has taken me into a world of music I've never heard before- don't think about it, buy it! Light some candles, pour out a favourite drink, set fire to a cigarette if you smoke, tweak the volume up and enjoy. Be warned though- mickey mouse speakers won't do justice to it. Be prepared to spend money on a serious speaker upgrade! I've got 3 foot high cabinets with bass, mid range and tweeters which I built about 57 years ago and I have yet to hear anything superior.
A previous reviewer mentioned that there is an 11th track which plays about 4 minutes of silence. He's right! What he didn't mention was a track 12 which you can hear. Ten tracks on the sleeve- twelve tracks on the CD- one you can't hear and one you can. Very strange.
Thanks Ray Mears- you've changed my musical world for ever. Finally, if you are into trance and want a recommendation try Trance Masters 2002.

I first heard this on Bob Harris way back in 1997 and went and ordered it immediately. Some time later Bob Harris played it again and commented that when he'd first aired it, it was the most enquired about piece of music he'd ever had on his programme (up until that date). I wasn't a bit surprised. Its still a uniquely beautiful collection of individual tracks.
