His first album, doesn't let you you down! His fantastic smooth voice and guitar playing are second to none as are all his albums. I definitely recommend this if you are a fan, plus his other titles too as his voice matures along the years from 1985 to the current year 2010, you will not be disappointed.

ISAAK IS A GOOD SOMEWHAT TONGUE IN CHEEK ENTERTAINER A GIFTED MUSICIAN AND COMPOSER. HE SINGS LIKE A BIRD AND HAS A GREAT BACKING BAND WITH WHOM HE'S WORKED WITH OVER 25 YEARS. I ATTENDED HIS RECENT CONCERT AT BRISTOL'S COLSTON HALL, WHERE HE PERFORMED FOR ONE AND A HALF HOURS AND LEFT THE STAGE TO A STANDING OVATION. FIRST HE PERFORMED THE NUMBERS THAT EVERYBODY EXPECTED HIM TO, THEN ON CAME THE UPRIGHT STRING BASS AND PIANO -- WITH CHRIS ATTIRED IN A RHINESTONE 1950s TYPE SUIT, TO RECREATE HIS LATEST ALBUM 'BEYOND THE SUN', DEDICATED TO ALL THE GREAT ROCK 'N' ROLLERS WHO CAME OUT OF SAM PHILLIPS SUN STUDIO IN MEMPHIS. THE SET WAS NOTHING SHORT OF BRILLIANT, BE IT ORBISON, CASH, JERRY LEE, PERKINS OR ELVIS. ON 'GREAT BALLS OF FIRE' THE PIANO EVEN BURST INTO FALSE FIRE AND MR. ISAAK WAS OUT LEAPING ABOUT IN THE AUDIENCE, STILL SINGING WHILST POSING FOR PICTURES (USUALLY BANNED -- QUOTE : WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK I DRESS LIKE THIS?) AND KISSING ALL THE WOMEN. SOME UNFORTUNATE FEMALE 'POSER' EVEN GOT UP ONTO THE STAGE TO HAVE A JIVE WITH THE RATHER MATURE SOLO GUITARIST. 'SILVERTONE' -- WHICH I HADN'T GOT -- WAS ON SALE IN THE FOYER AT SOME INFLATED PRICE, SO I CAME HOME AND ORDERED IT A LOT CHEAPER ON AMAZON. APART FOR SOME TRACKS THAT REAPPEAR ON 'THE BEST OF', THE OTHER ITEMS I WOULDN'T SAY ARE OF HIS BEST, SO I SOLD THE CD ON, BUT TO MY MIND, CHRIS IS STILL A GENIUS.
