This, for me, is the classic Irish folk album. Recorded at the end of the '70s by two brilliant musicians from Clare, it's an album you must have if you have any interest in Irish music. Tony Linnane (fiddle) and Noel Hill (concertina) are joined by Matt Molloy, Alec Finn and Micheal O'Donhnaill (if you don't know who they are - go and find out at once). The result is a marvellous session of jigs and reels that'll have you rolling up the carpet to dance. You'll love it.

What you have here is simple but exciting Irish instrumental music of the highest class played without pretensions or unnecessary frills. I liked this so much that I got a copy for a French folkie friend, who said "I love it so much that when it ends I want to say, More! More!" That's all you need to know.
