This is an album that deserves to be better known- particularly the songs on the latter part of the album that are hauntingly beautiful and full of pathos and raw emotion. I bought this album many years ago and have recently re-listened to it on a long car journey, I played it through several times over the course of the trip and the songs ran round my head for days afterward.
One of the truly original underated albums of all time, with influences that will be on the tip of your tongue throughout the album, there's something for everybody who has a music loving bone left in their body. Happy Birthday will make you laugh and Little Conversations, will make any grown man cry. This album was at the forefront of the surf movie culture in the early nineties, and still remains a timeless masterpiece of underground culture.
