Recorded during his period of residence in Colorado (before he moved on to Florida), this was a sort of accidental yet fortuitous find on the InterNet whilst checking out The Rippingtons' Life In The Tropics. Nothing much to say about it really, it's much as you might expect, a collection of Christmas songs, a few of them Russ Freeman originals, with a fairly Rippingtons flavour, though with an unfortunately bright and processed sound. Despite that, it's still an immensely likeable album. Mr F plays most of the instruments, with Jeff Kashiwa and Bob James helping out here and there on sax and keys respectively with Jerry Hey and Gary Grant on brass and a few other lesser known guests. Very nice (if you like Christmas albums, that is).
