I have to agree with the other reviews for this textbook covering ALL the patterns in the Kukkiwon syllabus and therefore recognised by the WTF in poomsae competition.
The textbook therefore covers all the Kup grade Taeguek patterns and all the Dan grade poomsae. Each pattern is covered with a general visual overview of the pattern diagram and all the movements / stances etc then by each move with stances described. The interpretations of each pattern are also covered and were still correct as per the entries on the Kukkiwon website when I wrote this review (August 2013). Each movement is described as well in both the English and Korean language so this is really helpful for gradings.
The models chosen to demonstrate the patterns are both world champions and the techniques / picture quality are superb, with colourful annotations with training tips / body positioning and explanations of applications of movements.
My only concern was with the dual use of English and Korean for every sentence which makes this otherwise wonderful book feel rather cluttered on each page. The oversight of seeking professional English language proof-reading is also evident on rare occasion. That aside, this is a worthy addition to any TKD student's collection of TKD textbooks.

A must have for all serious Olympic Style Taekwondo Athletes. Pay attention to how the book works.. You follow the numbers on the PICTURES, not the pages. As a Master Black Belt in Taekwondo, you SHOULD have this book.. ] MASTER JOE.. ( Ireland ) .
