Probably one of the finest two-wheelers ever but this was a case where technological brilliance wasn't matched by good sound management which let a great brand and way of life (on two wheels) slip away. This book is certainly the holy grail for many Lambretta owners, users, enthusiasts and it delivers in fine detail. Probably the one area where there is a lack of detail is in the abject absence of the Indian arms of Lambretta, first in the late 1950s and on to the 1980s and then the second wave from the mid-1980s till the late 1990s. I think a chapter on this would seal the deal as the most comprehensive story on the Lambretta scooter brand ever.
