This is not a cheap book and once purchased I was really looking forward to seeing good quality glossy pictures never seen before - this is unfortunately the reason why I give four and not five stars. The quality of the book itself is excellent but the photos are so enlarged that they are distorted and grainy (you can count the pixels on most pictures) and there's very little, if any, new pics. Most pictures are four or six pics of a slightly different angle of the ones which were used for magazine covers, album covers, promotional pictures etc. There isn't really anything new although the book itself is a lovely piece to own if you are a fan. There are two versions of the book - one is in German with German and English translations inside, (this is the one shown above on the Amazon site) and the other is English with German and English translations. I don't think it matters which you have, I have reviewed the English version.
I bought this book a while ago and continue to admire it, it has a steady place on my coffee table. There are so many unknown pictures of the four ABBA members, it seems like a whole new perspective. I especially enjoy the home stories, Agnetha with her family at their house. This book ought to be in every serious fan collection!
