As an armchair architect, this book does what I wanted it to. There are great photos in there, and a decent sized book so the photos are of a decent size. It works through chronologically, and rightfully concentrates on the buildings, not the architect. There is lots of info to contextualize each construction. Well worth getting if you are interested in his work.
The title "Basic Art Series" is a little misleading,as this excellent series offers much more than just the basics. There are many Wright designs featured here, besides the iconic Falling Water (cover image). The pictures are large and clear, obviously many are recently taken, and these sit well alongside plans and design sketches and early photographs. Text is well researched and easy to follow.
