I have a large number of both Charles Trangs books, and Heimdals books, and this is a very good addition. As there were no reviews I was a little reluctant to "buy blind", but very glad I did. The book follows the progress of all the Waffen units involved in Barbarossa upto November 1941. Quite a bit of text, so this is not a pure photo album, but as with all of Trang's books many photo's. The photo's are mostly unpublished as far as I can see, and generally very good quality, with very good shots of both uniforms and equipment. I would have liked the book to be longer, 160 pages is a bit brief for a big subject, but still a good addition and recommended. It's also worth mentioning the paper quality, which unlike a few recent Heimdal releases is very good.
