This book was in a smaller format than the Tintin books I have had previously, so the print was quite small. However, it was otherwise fine, and a great way of getting teenagers to practice their French

It wasn't obvious to me when I ordered this, but it's the smaller, half-size edition, not the more or less A4 sized ones I remembered as a kid. Which in some ways is nicer, because it's cute, but it makes the text rather small since the whole page is photographically reduced. It's still a nice glossy-cover hardback.
The rest is pure Tintin, so exactly what you would expect. This story is one I remember fondly and has the full cast of characters including Professeur Tournesol, Capitaine Haddock and Dupond et Dupont, the inept detectives.
Great for improving your French!

An eerie story that shows signs of too much reworking.
