I'm not usually a fan of shared worlds - the different styles of the writers often sit uncomfortably together. But this one is an absorbing read throughout. The only one of the writers I'd read before was Josh Lanyon and his contribution is as well-written as usual, with totally convincing characters and intriguing plot. The other writers are almost as good (!) and the book has been carefully knitted together so that the four novellas together form one long narrative. Well worth reading - I look forward to more in the series.
