The book itself has got some content, but it is simply not suitable for developers. The book doesnt put an effort to explain through examples..
I bought that book, and I used it for a few months, and I still cant get used to its weird format. The book created a real bad impression of
the Manning series. If you buy this book, you will use it for 10% of the time at most. If you are a beginner, you will find this book too confusing.

The jQuery documentations are 10 times more thorough and clear. Dont buy this book, it is much worse than the jquery documentations.

I'm new to JQuery and did not find this book very helpful with the JQuery syntax.
I've had to return every now and again to every new age developer's friend - Google,
to find find my way out of my JQuery programming woods.
This has virtually relegated the book and made me ask my self why I bought it in the first place.
May be the book would become more useful to me as my JQuery programming advances - wish me luck!
