Gnostic Psychology, Meditation, and the Origin of Suffering

Despite of the diminutive size of this book, its power is tremendous. It speaks about organization of our psyche, about three factors that are necessary for the awakening of our consciousness, about the utilization of energy for creating Superior Bodies, etc. If you have ever wondered about the origin of our suffering and the liberation thereof, then this book will guide you through it. It is written by using exact words, with precise science, and if one applies this science in day-to-day life, it eventually leads him to the final liberation from suffering (The Absolute, The Reality itself). This is a jewel among Samael Aun Weor's books precisely because of its diminutive size and that tremendous knowledge hidden within it.

This is what I call THE Psychology Book. You may have read dozens of psychology books but that does not mean that you are an expert in psychology or that you know how human psyche operates. And especially nowadays those books about human psychology tend to be rather intellectual and mind just plays with concepts and theories whereas this book is talking right to your consciousness and that is a Huge difference. Of course if you decide to read this book, please do so with Consciousness. It is literally the food for it.

Now, talking about the power of this book, I'll present you the very first paragraph:

Let us start our discussion that we could denominate "Intuition." First of all, we must begin from the foundation: the human being. Where did we come from? Where are we going? What is the reason for our existence? What do we exist for? Why do we exist? Behold, we have here a lot of questions that we must clarify and resolve. - Shall I say more? This speaks for itself.

"Ecstasy (Samadhi) is not a nebulous state, but a transcendental state of wonderment, which is associated with perfect mental clarity." Samael Aun Weor

The diminutive size of this book belies the extreme depth of its contents: the practical and urgent nature of the teachings provided here are as potentially transformative as a lightning strike. The serious spiritual investigator will find essential steps leading to the direct experience of the mysteries of life, death, karma, suffering, and the root of existence: the Emptiness or Void. This is not merely a recitation of theories or doctrines: it is the practical experience of the author, as acquired through the awakening of the consciousness, and is in accordance with the universal wisdom taught by all the great spiritual messengers throughout time and space.

Originally published in Spanish as "Mensaje de Navidad 1964-1965" (1965) and later named by students "La Disolucion del Yo."

Topics include:

The Organization of our Psyche; The Sensual Mind; The Psychological Man and Woman; The Three Factors; Energy & the Creation of the Superior Bodies; Identification; Intuition; The Kundabuffer Organ; The Ens Seminis; The Seven Cosmos; The Ray of Creation; The Psychological "I"; Return and Reincarnation; The Dissolution of the "I"; The Struggle of the Opposites; The Technique of Meditation; Ecstasy; and more.

"healing serpent also known as kundalini.."
Um, NO! 'Kundalini' is Lucifer's counterfeit of God's Holy Spirit and is extremely dangerous and well, evil. As an ex occultist, you don't want to have anything to do with that s***, trust me. The author is clearly clueless on what kundalini actually is and attributes it to something good and holy, when it's in fact the complete opposite. That's reason alone not to bother buying this book.

To be honest, I would stay away from anything that calls itself 'gnostic'. That tends to be from the devils bag of tricks. (ie, false, dangerous and designed to lead you away from the truth.)

"I am the way, the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father but through me" ~ Jesus Christ.

In this book the author explains about an error that happened in the evolution of this humanity, an error that effected the spiritual development of this race.

He explains how this error created a modification within the human psyche and physiology creating something false, artificial and degenerated, something that traps the consciousness and makes us live in spiritual darkness.

He explains how the divine spiritual knowledge was hidden and how this veiling of the ancient mysteries has caused allot of problems and misconceptions about the human being and spirituality.

Far from a book of despair as the author precisely details the precise and exact methodology to liberate us from this situation. He provides techniques for the awakening of the consciousness and meditation techniques for the experience of the truth, to experience that which is at the root of life.

So definitely this is a book that I would recommend. I was especially impressed by the last two chapters on meditation.
