Having recently started on an long-term architectural photo project, I needed guidance from the ground up, so to speak. This book was exactly what was required and I can heartily recommend it to anyone starting down a similar road
As a beginner I found this very interesting. There are lots of suggestions to try. The downside is the emphasis on Photoshop as the tool of choice. Hobby photographers might not be able to afford the hefty price of this tool. I recommend the book though.
This is a great book if Architectural photography is your subject. The book is well written, well laid out and goes into sufficient depth to get you going. It is t all reliant on equipment, but does advise on specific kit that would be beneficial. There are good chapters regarding software and editing which can transfer to other genres too. All in all. It is ideal. It won't make you great, but it'll help you lay a foundation.
