In its eighth year of publication, this book has become the equivalent of the famous Wisden Cricketers' Almanack. All the main facts of the rugby world are included and the record sections are excellent for all the principal countries, reflecting on the rapid growth of the game in recent years. My only quibble is the brief coverage of the Lions' successful tour Down Under, with no details of the international games other than a list of the match scores and the full squad. Much the same would apply to missing details of the tour to South Africa in 2009 (IRB RY 2010) and I will expect to see these omissions corrected in future editions. As stated on the back cover, this is the most comprehensive rugby yearbook on the planet and is thoroughly recommended to all serious rugby followers.
