The production values are very good, but the content is a bit thin. I would've liked to have read more players' interviews; I don't feel I learned any more, from reading this book, than I did by watching Sky Sports. This was disappointing, because the 2005 Lions' book was a really good read.
Great photos, though.

If you ever go on a Lions tour to South Afirca, you never want it to finish, but sadly they always do
This book however relives the process from tour party announcement to the final test with clarity and emotion felt only by those managing, coaching, playing or watching - all of which form a special part of this book
Thoroughly enjoyable and real life descriptio of the 2009 tour to South Africa

As I was in South Africa following this tour I thought this would be a good inside version of what you don't see from the terraces. Want disappointed!

Good coverage of the 2009 Tour to South Africa. Excellent photographs. Good respected Rugby writer. One for the home library.
