lucky luke as asterix is an icon in comic literature
it s not only a fine story for kids but as well for adult with a multiple forms of humour that you catch on as you re read it as an adult or as a more mature and educated beeing
i believe the translation into english will miss those game words
it s like trying to doub the pink panther in french you miss the point
totally and end up with a happy slapstick gag but clousot without his french accent is nothing ...well for luky luke it s a bit the same but fortunatly there a lot of universal humour so it s not that bad
the dalton are one of the important caracter baddies in lucky luke , they are bad ,stupid and mean and they always lost when facing luky luke
graphically it s very nice and i use to copy it when i was a kid
by the way it s not french from france but morris and gocinny are belgium i think .

a top notch classic from Morris and Goscinny featuring the infamous Rin Tin Can (hopeless dog), the equally hopeless Dalton Brothers and a host of Mexican characters... and of course Lucky Luke who as usualy is trying to put the universe right. This one is a classic
