Beautifully written and inspiring

Beautifully written and inspiring! I read this book on holiday in a day sat by the pool. Jason is speaking from experience and his character allows you to be brought into the world of his past whereby drugs and crime were a way of life. You feel almost like he is bringing you in as part of the gang, part of the secret and you get emotionally attached to the main character. You like Jason despite the fact that he is talking about things that society deems as illegal. You feel his thrill, his fear and his addiction as you're reading it. The pseudonyms for each gangster (considering he can't use real names for quite obvious reasons) are so well suited to each character and in a way make them likeable too. I thank thr author Jason cook for this book as I feel it is an issue that is not raised enough and we need to have a greater understanding of the dangers of drug addiction and involvement in the drug world. The stakes are high and the consequences are even higher; a lesson to be learnt by Jason's experiences.
