This colourful and interesting book would make a great gift to anyone who lived through this exciting decade, or indeed anyone who missed it. I remember many of the items of furniture, kitchenware and curtain and carpet patterns from the time and these are all outlined and pictured in the various different chapters. The size is especially good, not too large and ideal for flicking through or displaying on the coffee table! Very colourful and highly recommendable - with this book along with the other three in the series: "Turn of the Century Style", "Thirtiestyle" and "fiftiestyle", I have entertained many a dinner party guest.
A concise history of 1960's decor with why we did things the way we did them, and how we managed to achieve the distinctive 60's look. A great book for lovers of architecture and design. Well written and some cracking photographs. Far out, man.
